This is a 2 days Morocco desert tours from Ouarzazate to Fes, where you’ll get to visit several stunning places in a short period. The tour begins in Ouarzazate, where you’ll explore the Taourirt Kasbah, an ancient mud castle, and the studios where many movies were shot.
After that, you’ll head to the Dades valley and the Todra gorges, followed by a visit to the Merzouga Sahara desert. Here, you’ll ride camels, witness magical sunsets and sunrises, and spend the night in a desert camp.
You’ll also visit the Rissani traditional market and Erfoud, the fossils town, before heading to the Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane, and the cedars forest, where the Barbary macaque live. Finally, the tour concludes in Fes.

Itinerary
on the first day og your morocco desert tours. Early in the morning we will pick you up from your accommodation or from the airport in Ouarzazate and start with a city tour of Ouarzazate. Our first stop is the Atlas Studio, where many famous movies were filmed.
We will then visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, an ancient structure with a tangled history. Afterwards, we will continue southeast to Skoura, where we will visit the Kasbah of Amridil, surrounded by green palm groves. We then continue to the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival held in May. Here the locals present their rose products, ranging from perfume and rose water to oils and cosmetics.
Driving through the Dades Valley, we stop at a viewpoint to admire the breathtaking view of the Dades Gorges. We continue our journey and reach the Todra Gorge, where the Todra River has carved a large gorge through the mountains, impressive for its red rock walls. After some free time to admire the breathtaking scenery, we will have a lunch break.
In the afternoon we will reach the Sahara Desert Merzouga, where you will exchange your vehicle for camels and cross the sandy terrain. We will take a break so you can see the enchanting sunset on a high dune. Then it's on to the luxurious desert camp, where you can listen to the rhythms of Berber drums and dance around the campfire under the magnificent starry sky.

Our first stop will be Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet, which remains an important trading center with a bustling souk every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. You’ll have time to wander through the lively souk before we move on to Erfoud, where you can explore one of the fossilized marble workshops. As we drive along the Ziz river, we’ll pause to take in the breathtaking view of the Ziz valley.
We’ll stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing on to the cedar forest, where the Barbary Macaques reside. You can feed them as you explore the forest. Our next destination is Ifrane, known for its cold weather, snow, and alpine-style architecture, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Finally, we’ll drop you off at your Fes accommodation or the airport, concluding the tour.
