The tour typically begins with a pick-up from Tangier and a scenic drive towards Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco, where you can wander through the charming blue-washed medina and indulge in some traditional Moroccan cuisine. Next, you’ll head to Fes, one of the country’s oldest and most fascinating cities, to explore its narrow alleys, bustling souks, and exquisite palaces and mosques.
From there, you’ll continue to the Sahara Desert, where you’ll have the opportunity to ride a camel into the sand dunes and witness the breathtaking sunset over the desert landscape. You’ll spend a night in a traditional Berber camp, enjoying a delicious dinner and traditional music under the stars. The tour will then take you to the impressive Todra Gorge and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified mud-brick village that has been featured in many films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Itinerary
On the first day of your 6-day desert tour itinerary, we will pick you up from your accommodation, the airport, or the port in Tangier, also known as “the bride of the north”. This coastal city is located in the northwest, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spartel. Our first stop will be to explore the beautiful city of Tangier, including the famous Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel, known for its stunning vistas. Afterwards, we will drive inland towards Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the scenic Rif mountains. Along the way, we will make stops for panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes. Upon reaching Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted buildings and vibrant streets, we will check into our hotel for an overnight stay. You will have some free time for lunch and to explore the charming town of Chefchaouen at your own pace, with its winding alleys, colorful markets, and unique architecture. This will be a day filled with cultural and scenic experiences as you begin your journey into the heart of Morocco.
On the second day of your 6 days morocco holiday in Tangier. we will embark on an excursion to Volubilis, passing through quaint Rifian towns along the way. Upon reaching Volubilis, you will have the opportunity to explore the Roman ruins, which are renowned for their well-preserved vestiges of an ancient civilization.
Afterwards, we will continue our journey to the Ismailian city of Meknes, where you will visit the old Medina, Moulay Ismail's burial chamber, the old sub-prison, and the historic Jewish quarter known as Mellah, where local Jewish residents sell their produce. Meknes is known for its impressive historical sites and rich cultural heritage.
We will then proceed to the city of Fes, where you will be staying overnight at a hotel with breakfast included. Fes is known for its vibrant Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a maze of narrow alleys filled with bustling markets, intricate architecture, and rich cultural traditions. This day will be filled with historical and cultural experiences as you explore the ancient ruins of Volubilis, the imperial city of Meknes, and the fascinating city of Fes.
On the 3rd day of the 6 days Morocco tour. After enjoying a traditional Moroccan breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of the old city of Fes, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Prepare to be enchanted by the vibrant colors, sights, and sounds of this historic city.
As you stroll through the mysterious alleys of the ancient Fes Medina, you will catch glimpses of the lives of the people who call this place home. During your tour, you will visit several famous landmarks, including the Royal Palace, the Old Jewish Quarter, the Madrasa Bou Inania (an Islamic educational institution), the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, among others.
You will also have the opportunity to marvel at the panoramic view of the old Fes Medina from the historic Borj Nord Fortress. After a day of exploring the fascinating history and culture of Fes, you will spend the night in a hotel, with breakfast included. This day will be filled with unforgettable experiences as you immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Fes and discover its hidden treasures.
On the 4th of the 6 days Desert tour from Tangier. After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your riad to begin your trip. Your first destination will be the small town of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of North Africa.”
Located in the Atlas mountains, Ifrane is known for its beautiful forests and picturesque scenery. You will have the opportunity to take pictures with the iconic lion statue and learn about its story. Continuing your journey, you will drive through the massive Cedar forests, where you can take a break to rest and capture photos of the monkeys that inhabit the area, as well as the lush greenery around you.
The road then leads to the apple capital of Midelt, known for its fresh apples and precious minerals such as vanadinites and tourmaline. Here, you will stop for lunch and sample the local cuisine. After lunch, you will head towards the Sahara desert, passing through breathtaking sights such as the panoramic view of Tizi n Tlghmt and the Ziz valley, which is the longest valley in Morocco and boasts thousands of palm trees.
You will also pass through Erfoud, known for its dates and fossils. After 43 km, you will reach the Merzouga Sahara desert, where you will spend your first night in a comfortable hotel on the edge of the dunes, offering breathtaking views. The second night of your trip will be spent in a desert camp, where you will experience an authentic overnight stay with the Berber people, the local inhabitants of the desert. This will be a unique and memorable experience, immersing yourself in the culture and lifestyle of the desert, surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Sahara.
On the 5th day of the 6 days morocco holiday from Tangier. Our plan is to wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise, capture some photos, and enjoy breakfast. We will then return to our hotel by camelback and freshen up before embarking on our journey to Bomalne Dades via Rissani, the date capital, and Erfoud, known for its marble and fossils.
Along the way, we will take some photographs. At Toudgha Gorge, we will take a break for lunch and rest, while marveling at the stunning panoramic view of the old mud Berber villages, which overlook the valley. Additionally, we will take a 300-meter walk. We will then proceed to Boumalne Dades.
Today marks the end of your 6 dys Morocco tour from Tangier, our journey will take us towards Marrakech, passing through the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will be treated to awe-inspiring views of the mountains and the stunning Dades Valley before reaching our destination in Ouarzazate.
We will then proceed to visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which has been featured in numerous films, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Bandits, Bandits (1981), Gladiator (2000), Alexander (2004), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and many others. After exploring the village, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and finally arrive in Marrakech.
