Itinerary

The first day of your 10 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech. Before breakfast, kick off your adventure with the help of a local guide as you explore the historic Medina of Marrakech.

Along the way, you’ll visit several notable sites including the Menara, Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum, Bahia Palace, and the vibrant Jamaa El Fna square and souks.

After a fulfilling day of sightseeing, retire to your accommodation for the night with breakfast included.

The second day of your 10 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech. After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up in the villages along the way.

Our first stop is the famous village of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified Berber kasbah where many famous movies have been filmed, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Bandits (1981), Gladiator (2000), Alexandre (2004) and Kingdom of Heaven (2005), to name a few.

After a visit to the breathtaking Dades Valley, where you can enjoy the view of the Kasbahs, we’ll continue to the Hollywood of Africa to explore the studio of Ouarzazate and the Kasbah of Taourirte. Finally we’ll reach our hotel.

On the 3rd day of your 10 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech. After breakfast we leave the Dades Valley and head for the Sahara Desert. On the way we pass enchanting high gorges and enjoy the panoramic view of the largest palm valley in Morocco.

In the middle of the day we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant. Our journey continues through the palm-fringed roads until we reach the vast Sahara desert of Merzouga, where we will spend two nights.

The first night we will spend in a comfortable hotel on the edge of the dunes with a breathtaking view.

The hotel is surrounded by soft sand dunes, so you can walk barefoot and explore the area. Since the next day will be full of activities, you should rest.

On day 4th of the 10 days Morocco desert tours from Marrakech. Breakfast, join a 4X4 car safari to discover the treasures of the Sahara Desert. In the massive dunes, you will drive through the road of RALLY DAKAR to shake your adrenaline.

Before sunset you will be taken to a camel park from where you will start your camel ride to the oasis camp in the middle of the desert. On the way to the camp, you will stop amidst the large dunes to watch the sunset before finishing your caravan to your camp.

In this camp you will experience an authentic nomadic night. This camp is equipped with all the amenities you will need. Delicious freshly prepared local food will be served. After dinner you will dance, sing and riddle with the nomads under the stars. (Dinner and breakfast)

On the 5th day of your 10-day Morocco experience tour. Day we wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise, take some photos and have breakfast before returning to the hotel.

Then our journey begins, taking us from the vast Sahara desert to the valleys, forests and high mountains of the Atlas Mountains with snow. We’ll visit the Ziz valley, Ait Sheker, Tizi Ntlghamt, the city of Midlet (the capital of the apple), the jungle of cedars and stop to observe and photograph monkeys.

From there, head west to Volubilis, where you can marvel at the ruins of a Roman city dating back to the 3rd century BC. Continue your journey to Meknes, an imperial city with magnificent architecture and impressive ramparts.
