You’ll drive to the charming town of Ifrane, located in the forests of the Atlas Mountains and also known as the “Switzerland of North Africa” Here you’ll stop to take a photo with the lion statue and learn about its significance.

Your journey continues through the vast cedar forests, where you’ll pause to rest and take a few photos of the monkeys and lush greenery around you. Afterwards, you’ll drive to Midelt, the apple capital, known for its valuable minerals such as vanadinites and tourmalines.

During lunch, you can enjoy the local cuisine. The route then takes you to the Sahara Desert, passing spectacular sites such as the Tizi n Tlghmt and the Ziz Valley, the longest valley in Morocco with thousands of palm trees. You’ll also pass through Erfoud, the capital of dates and fossils.

After 43 km you’ll reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. You’ll spend the first night in a cozy hotel on the dunes’ edges with breathtaking views. The second night will be in a Berber desert camp, where you’ll have an authentic overnight experience.

On the 7th day of your 12 days desert tour from casablanca. After breakfast, join a 4X4 car safari to discover the treasures of the Sahara Desert. In the huge dunes, you will drive through the road of RALLY DAKAR to shake your adrenaline.

Then you will visit a nomadic family and have tea with them. After that, you will be taken to Khamliya village. Khamliya village is a small village near the center of Merzouga.

This village is mainly inhabited by people with black skin color who were brought as slaves during slavery. It is also considered the base and foundation of Gnaoua music.

Before sunset you will be taken to a camel park from where you will start your camel ride to the oasis camp in the middle of the desert. On the way to the camp, you will stop amidst the large dunes to watch the sunset before finishing your caravan to your camp.

In this camp you will experience an authentic nomadic night. This camp is equipped with all the amenities you will need. Delicious freshly prepared local food will be served.

Then we’ll ride our camels back to the hotel, take a shower and head to Bomalne Dades via Rissani, the capital of dates, and Erfoud, the capital of marble and fossils.

On the way we make a few photo stops, including at the Toudgha Gorge, where we have lunch, rest and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the ancient Berber villages made of clay that overlook the valley.

We also take a walk under a 300m high gorge. Finally, we continue our journey towards Boumalne Dades.

From there we drive through the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, where we visit the famous film studios that have served as the backdrop for many famous movies.

Our next stop is the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village declared a World Heritage Site at UNESCO. This impressive structure has also been featured in numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV series such as Game of Thrones.

We’ll then make our way to Marrakech, driving over the breathtaking Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. During the drive we stop for lunch and take photos at various viewpoints. Finally, we spend the night in a traditional riad in Marrakech

The 10th day of your 12 days desert tour from casablanca to marrakech. Before breakfast, kick off your adventure with the help of a local guide as you explore the historic Medina of Marrakech.

Along the way, you’ll visit several notable sites including the Menara, Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum, Bahia Palace, and the vibrant Jamaa El Fna square and souks.

After a fulfilling day of sightseeing, retire to your accommodation for the night with breakfast included.

On the 11th of your 12 days desert tour from casablanca to marrakech. After breakfast, we will embark on a 175 km drive of about 3 hours from Marrakech to the Atlantic coast to Mogador, also known as Essaouira.

During the excursion, we will drive through the argan forest where you can watch goats climbing the trees. Upon arrival, we will spend the day exploring this beautiful coastal town, including the old fortified fishing port, which is a popular destination for wind and kite surfers due to its shallow waters.

Essaouira was once a favorite spot for famous musicians Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix. You will have the opportunity to visit the main sights of the city, including a combination of Berber Portuguese architecture, French urban design, art galleries and lively markets.

We will also enjoy lunch at one of the seafood restaurants, followed by an overnight stay with breakfast at your chosen accommodation.
