1 day trip from Marrakech to ait Ben haddou and ouarzazat

Start on an exciting day trip from marrakech to ait ben haddou  and Ouarzazate, starting in the beautiful city of Marrakech. Your trip begins with an 8:00 am pickup from your accommodation by a knowledgeable driver/guide.

From there you’ll travel to Ouarzazate, also known as the gateway to the desert. On the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the village of Ait Berka at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains before continuing to the summit of Tizi N-Tichka at an altitude of 2260m, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains, the highest mountain range in Morocco.

You’ll also visit the historic Kasbah Telouet, also known as Kasbah El Glaoui, before heading to the world famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is a World Heritage Site ( UNESCO ) and has been the setting for many famous movies such as Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After a trip to the Kasbah, you’ll indulge in a delectable lunch before continuing your journey to the city of Ouarzazate. Here, you’ll visit the cinema studios and the Taourirt Kasbah before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon, where the driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
