Day 1

Arrival Casablanca:

On the first day of your 9 days tour from Casablanca. If you arrive early, you will have the chance to explore Casablanca. However, if you are unable to arrive early, you will need to spend the night until the morning at a hotel, where breakfast will be provided.

On the second day of your 9-day desert tour from casablanca. Travel from Casablanca to Fes via Rabat ! in the morning Discover Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, known for its iconic landmarks, modern flair and vibrant nightlife.

Explore the Hassan Mosque II, the Royal Palace, the Corniche, the markets and indulge in delicious Moroccan cuisine. Immerse yourself in the local culture and hospitality of this cosmopolitan city.

Then continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore the historic sites of Rabat such as the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant.

Then continue your journey to Fes, one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check in to your accommodation.

Day 2

Casablanca- Rabat - Fes

Day 3

Full day in Fes city with local guide

On the 3rd of your 9-day Morocco desert tour from casablanca. After enjoying a traditional Moroccan breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of the old city of Fes, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide.

Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant colors, sights, and sounds of this historic city. You will have the opportunity to explore the medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and witness the authentic and traditional way of life that has been preserved for centuries.

Highlights of the tour include visits to historic schools such as Attarine and Bounania, the Madrasa Bou Inania, the Royal Palace, the Old Jewish Quarter, fountains, Andalusian style palaces, mausoleums, and the renowned al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest in the world founded by Fatima bint Muhammad al-Fihriyya.

You will also have the chance to visit the many themed souks (markets) and craft workshops, including the famous tanners’ quarter, weavers’ quarter, cabinet makers, and more, where you can witness the age-old craftsmanship of the local artisans.

A typical Moroccan lunch will be served at a restaurant in the heart of the medina. The day will also include a visit to the historic Borj Nord Fortress, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the old Fes Medina. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel, and breakfast will be provided.

On the 4th of your 9-day tour from Casablanca. After enjoying breakfast, our driver will pick you up from the riad where you are staying, and your journey will begin.

You will be directed to the small town of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of North Africa,” located in the Atlas mountains. Here, you will have the opportunity to take pictures with the famous lion statue and learn about its story.

Continuing your trip, you will pass through the majestic cedar forests and have a chance to rest and take pictures with the monkeys that inhabit the area, surrounded by lush greenery.

Next, the road will take you to the apple capital of Midelt, known for its fresh apples and precious minerals such as vanadinites and tourmalines. You will stop in Midelt for lunch and have the opportunity to try local cuisine.

After lunch, your journey will continue towards the Sahara desert. Along the way, you will be treated to incredible sights, including the breathtaking views of Tizi n Tlghmt and the Ziz valley, which is the longest valley in Morocco adorned with thousands of palm trees.

Passing through Erfoud, known for its dates and fossils, you will finally reach the Merzouga Sahara desert after 43 kilometers. The first night of your desert adventure will be spent in a comfortable hotel located at the edge of the dunes, offering a mesmerizing view of the desert landscape.

The second night will be a truly authentic experience as you spend the night in a desert camp, immersing yourself in the Berber culture and lifestyle. This unique experience will create memories that will last a lifetime

Day 5

On the 5th of your 9-day Morocco desert tour from casablanca. After breakfast, embark on an exciting 4X4 car safari to discover the hidden treasures of the Sahara Desert.

You will drive through the huge dunes and follow the tracks of the famous RALLY DAKAR, an exciting experience that will get your adrenaline pumping. On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit a nomadic family and have a cup of tea with them to get an insight into their way of life.

You will then be taken to the village of Khamliya, a small village near the center of Merzouga. This village is mainly inhabited by people with black skin color who were brought as slaves during the time of slavery.

The village of Khamliya is also considered the birthplace of Gnaoua music, a traditional music genre in Morocco. Here you will have the opportunity to listen to the enchanting melodies of Gnaoua music, a unique cultural experience.

Continuing your journey, you will visit the seasonal lake of Srij, located on the edge of the golden dunes of Merzouga. This lake serves as a stopover for migratory birds moving from Europe to South Africa and offers a breathtaking natural spectacle.

At noon, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants where you can try Berber pizza, a local specialty. After lunch, you will have some free time to relax and take in the surroundings.

Later in the day, you will be directed to a camel park where you will begin your camel ride to the oasis camp in the heart of the desert. Along the way, you will stop to witness the breathtaking sunset over the majestic dunes – a truly unforgettable moment.

Once at the camp, you will experience an authentic nomadic night and stay in a fully equipped camp with all amenities. The camp will serve you delicious, freshly prepared local food for dinner and breakfast.

After dinner, you can participate in the nomads’ traditional dances, songs and riddle rounds, all under a mesmerizing starry sky. This will be an unforgettable night amidst the rich culture and hospitality of the Sahara desert

On the 6th of your 9-day Morocco desert tour from casablanca. Saharae early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the desert dunes, take unforgettable photos and have breakfast.

Then we will return to the hotel on our faithful camels and refresh ourselves with a shower before continuing our journey to Bomalne Dades via Rissani, known as the “date”,” and Erfoud, famous for its marble and fossils.

Along the way we will stop to photograph the picturesque landscapes. Our first major stop will be the Toudgha Gorge, where we will take a lunch break and rest.

Here we will also admire the panoramic view of the ancient Berber villages made of clay that lie in the valley, and take a leisurely walk under the 300 metres high cliffs.

After this impressive experience we continue our journey towards Boumalne Dades, our next destination

Dades > Ouarzazate > Ait Benhaddou Kasbah > Marrakech

On the 7th of your 9-day desert tour from casablanca. Today our journey takes us through the heart of the majestic High Atlas Mountains to the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Along the way, we will be treated to awe-inspiring views of the towering mountains and breathtaking valleys, including the picturesque Dades Valley, which will leave us in awe of the wonders of nature.

Our next stop is in Ouarzazate, famous for its movie studios and nicknamed the “Hollywood of Africa”.

We will then continue to the famous village of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site UNESCO, where many famous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), Gladiator (2000) and others were filmed.

After visiting this historical place, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and drive to Marrakech, where we will spend the night in a hotel.

Here we will enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable stay with breakfast the next morning to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech

On the 8th of your 9-day Morocco desert tour from casablanca. After a delicious breakfast, we embark on a discovery tour of the historic medina of Marrakech with a local guide.

The programme includes visits to the picturesque Menara Gardens, the famous Majorelle Gardens, the impressive Koutoubia Mosque and its surrounding gardens, the ancient Saadian tombs, the fascinating Dar Si Said Museum, the opulent Bahia Palace, the bustling Jamaa El Fna square and the vibrant souks (market halls).

We will immerse ourselves in Marrakech’s rich history, culture and architecture as our guide shares insights and anecdotes about the city’s heritage.

After a day of exploration and discovery, we will return to our accommodation for the second night, where we will enjoy a comfortable stay and a hearty breakfast the next morning, ready for further adventures in this enchanting city.
